Dr. Minn Saing is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder, as well as general orthopedic surgery. Dr. Saing earned his undergraduate degree in physiology from the University of California Los Angeles, followed by his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. He then completed both his internship and residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center, also in Philadelphia.

Following his residency, Dr. Saing pursued a fellowship at the Atlanta Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center, one of the premier training sites for advanced techniques in cartilage and meniscus surgery. During his fellowship, Dr. Saing served as associate team physician for the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons and the NHL’s Atlanta Thrashers. He has also had the privilege of training internationally with pioneer surgeons in both France and Hong Kong, China.

Dr. Saing returned to Philadelphia after his fellowship to serve as teaching faculty at Albert Einstein Medical Center and clinical assistant professor at Jefferson Medical College. He received recognition in the community as a Top Physician in Philadelphia’s Suburban magazine, and he received a clinical teaching award for his dedication to teaching residents.

Dr. Saing was actively involved in the community, serving as medical director of the Philadelphia Broad Street Run, the largest 10-mile road race in the nation. In addition, Dr. Saing was the voice of the Philadelphia Eagle’s Sports Radio Injury Report, providing weekly analysis of the teams’ injuries. He was also head team physician for Penn State Abington and covered several other local high schools and universities.

Dr. Saing has an avid interest in research and has published and presented over 30 topics in both national and international journals and meetings.

Dr. Saing’s current interests include ACL reconstruction; multi-ligament knee reconstruction; meniscus and cartilage surgery; knee replacement; shoulder arthroscopy, including rotator cuff surgery and labral repair; and general orthopedic surgery.

Dr. Saing relocated to South Florida with his wife and son. He enjoys outdoor activities, boating, golf, biking, and spending time with his family.
